For over twenty years, Breyton Design has stood for functionality, individualism and elegance.
Product development for BMW vehicles has always been underlined by competent engineering in all production steps at Breyton Design. Breyton Design utilises the latest technologies available at the start of each development program for example FEM for the structural analysis and tensile strength of the materials used.
The sole owner of Breyton Design GmbH, Edmund Breyton, turned his passion for automobile tuning into business when founded the engineering office EBS in Stockach in 1982. The young company was initially concerned with development and design studies for several automobile purifiers and automobile manufacturers, especially AMG and the world wide renowned BMW. 
The company’s technical ability and business acumen meant immediate success and expansion, Edmund Breyton was able to establish a sales program and in 1985 he launched his first product line for aerodynamic parts. The renamed company, Breyton design GmbH, moved to a new company owned area with 6000 qm in Stockach in 1986. In 1987, the development and production of alloy wheels began.
Since 1992 aerodynamic parts, alloy wheel rims and motor tuning were offered for all current BMW models. In 2000, Breyton successfully acquired 57 % of a Swiss automotive company - today Breyton Swiss.
The result of this co-operation was a master role within the motor tuning and the compressor technology markets, culminating in the launch of the fastest BMW 3 series in the world with 528 PS, created by Breyton. The complete chassis, stabilisers and end silencers finished the Breyton package off.
The enormous increase of demand for quality high-class and exclusive alloy wheels led to an intense focus on the development of alloy wheels.
